Hi,

I filed N-400 on 02/14/04 and interviewed on 07/05/06. But I was stucked in name check for 2.5 years and still waiting for Oath notices as of today. I had tried Infopass and senator's letters and it didn't work for me. I am thinking to hire a lawyer to file WOM. Does anybody know a good immigration lawyer in RI or MA?

Thank you

Since you have already been interviewed, you can do something much better and more effective than WOM. You can file a Federal lawsuit under 8 U.S.C. 1447(b). There is an abundance of information on how to do this on your own (pro se) on this website. The first thread on this site outlines the process in great detail.

Cheers!

I agree with Legalalian (or should I say legalcitizen.:)). If you really want to file this lawsuit through a lawyer to avoid stress, you can sign up on pacer (http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/). It is a website for the court. It will cost you $0.08/page. Once you sign up, you can go to your district or the district near yours to search for all 1447b compliants. Actually these lawsuit will listed as 1446 petition of naturalization hearing and the code of the nature of suit is 890. Once you pick any 1447b compliant, it lists all kinds information, including attorney information. I think it is the best way to find an attorney. Hope it helps,

Jack

Snow,

You've waited to long. Sue them immediately. You don't need a lawyer, just required some time and research on your part.

Good Luck,
