My Priority Date is Nov2002. (It funny a friend of mine who applied in Jun2002 has his card for more than a year now 
). The way the dates moving now, it may take another 4-6 years to get I-485 approved. I am getting tired of every 9 month EAD/AP renewal process. (Done it 3 times already ).
It looks like the processing time for EAD/AP is also going up pretty fast, and it may soon reach where you need to apply for your renewal as soon as you get one approved.
What are the other options?
1) Can we change from I-485 to CP? I can go back to India without abandoning my GC. I can probably see some progress in my career.
2) Can we reapply in EB2 or EB1? I know EB2 will soon get as bad as EB3. How about EB1? A smart colleague of mine applied in EB1 and just couple of years back and got his GC.
3) Any other options?
