Strange situation - please help, its urgent!!!

Hi, I am in very strange situation. My situation and related questions are as follows ---

I came here on F1 visa in may 06. I graduated in may 07. After that, I converted into H1 visa from oct 07. But I never use my h1 visa as my employer didn't find any project for me. Now I have three options -

1, Convert to F1 visa again and after complete my study, apply for new H1 visa. (is it possible to apply new H1 or same h1 will continue only) also can I go to India during F1 status?

2, Go back to India and apply new H1 in next april and come back again in oct. it is possible? (as I have came to know that you must stay outside of US for atlease 1 year to start new H1)

3, Go back to India on leave on absence and come back on same H1 ( as I never go for stamping and also do not have paystub, please tell me how this option will helpful).

Please guys, Help me which option I have to choose. If you have any other option, please inform me that also. Thanks in advance.

You accumalated illegal presence in the US since July 2007. Only option is to apply H-1B visa in India for the next year's quota.

Why don't you ask your employer to pay for the period in H1. They are supposed to pay.

You have caused lot of confusion here. Please state clearly what you want your intentions are. Then people might be able to give you some free opinions . And if it is so very urgent for you, then you must contact an Immigration attorney immediately.
