Strange online 485 status

I never heard this kind of status before:
we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appellate body for review. The notice explains in detail the basis for this proposed action.

Does any one have clue....or had this experience ?
Case approved for my wife.

Hmm .. was there anything special in your wife's case? Did she ever seek for asylum or something like that?
Other than that, I guess .. just wait till you get the letter..

It is not responsible

to say "do not worry, everything will be fine ..."
The guy should start calling moving companies to get quotes for moving back home.
They could be working in half capacity during the holidays.

We got a new Ha**** its almost_free, with full of -ve energy.
Stop scaring people; it was IIO before with all kinds of weird info, so the virus spread to the online status also.


On Oct 8 when I called IIO, he said my I485 is with an officer. I called again to change my address now I get a reply it is in the waiting area. So go figure out :mad:

What I found out was... its gone for security check. I think this is the new security check phase they introduced a few months back.

Looks like u'll get it approved soon.

I am only concerned about the additional delay this would cause.Luckily my wife escaped whatever this BS is.

Just a thought,
Was ur case any different ?
Any criminal records , or were u out of status anytime, or were u worked illegally (I meant, if u were a student and worked with out proper documentation like teaching asst-ship etc etc)

All the best and hope u get ur approval soon.

Talk to ur lawyer, let us know what he says and what happens with ur case so that others on this forum can get some info.

Does that include your green card?
People on this forum used get their approvals for free.

almost_free what do you mean Green Card comes for free......may be in your case it is free but for everybody else its been a long fight
you either talk sense or just get the hell out of here

in a sense that INS used to stamp approvals automatically without thoroughly checking whether the GC is justified (sponsoring company can not make it without hiring this person).
How many of you went long to falsificate paystubs, employment letters or even diplomas just to get through it.
As you can see from the latest approvals, the party is over.

You should get used to new reality, not all of you will be approved automatically, there will be causulties on the way.
And lets admit, many of you cheated on this country and do not deserve to be approved anyway.
