Strange Messahe from USCIS website

Hi fellas....

As always, I logged onto my profile on USCIS website and below is the message I received....

"Status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the service center where you submitted your application."

Also it states that if you check too many times, then the access would be revoked for an indefinite period.

This is just an FYI for all of you.

BTW, if you are wondering how many times I check a day -- once in the morning and once in the night. Maybe this is too much for USCIS to handle.

But, what puzzles me is the above statement of my receipt number not found issue. When I checked for my AP and EAD, which were approved earlier, it states the same message.
 
I am able to check my status. may be you are typing it wrong or something. There should not be any dashes.
If your search fails multiple time in a row, then they suspend you for a day or two. If yu were using your home computer then you can search from a different computer again. But if you used your work computer, then your domain will be suspended during that time...
 
i once had a brief period during which the mesage said something similar but then after two days it was back to normal. i just assumed that they had server down or something.
 
robocop104, same thing here. I don't want to create any high hopes or anything, but last time it happened to me was on 6/13, and the next thing I saw was on 6/15 a new LUD. no change of message though.....go figure.
