Strange message - RFE response received message and never received RFE

guys

Just now I got 2 mails for my spouse I-485 at 10.30 pm est.
Got 2 more e-mails for my kid I-485 at 11.15 pm est.

I am not sure what really this mean. we never did any status enquiry or address change. Also we did not received any RFE so far. I am the primary applicant. Any thoughts?? these message seems a response to RFE. But me, my spouse or my kids no one had received any RFE. This is 1st time message changed 'Received' ND 09/23/2003 to 'responce received' 11/10/2004 :confused:

On November 10, 2004, we received your response to our request for
evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to
process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was
complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum
stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

They show this msg when they issue an RFE and they recv it, could it be an indirect RFE to some other department and not you and they recd it?

can you not call there 1800 number and ask them?

please keep us posted.
 
One Case

I know of one case ( search in this forum ) where they issued the RFE, took back the RFE and approved the case. The applicant never received the RFE. Wonder how it works :D Don't worry, contact your lawyer once, you will be approved soon

Here is latest update on my Case

My LUD changed on 3rd and 4th Nov, no e-mails and no On-line message change till yesterday, Yesterday we received e-mails stating that they received RFE responce. So I contacted my attorney today. Guess what, they issued one RFE for all us, questioning about our legal status. I was with company A, when I filed H1. Next year Company A was merged with Company B, which was happend before applying labour in 2001. I applied GC based on Company B. Eventhough attorney sent all the merger documentation, the adjucator overlooked the file and sent RFE stating I was out of status from past 4 years, since i did not worked for Company A and working Company B. when attorney replied to RFE, my case status was updated and received e-mails.

My 2 cents

I think that you should be in for an approval in the next couple of days. I think that ur LUD is regarding that..
