Strange Message - Please help me understand

Friends, I just got this email message from USCIS.

May 12, 2005 : Code 3 finger printed
October 12,2006 : Code 3 finger printed.

What does this mean? Can any one advise? Thanks a bunch!

I got the same status message for my case too..

My I-485 receipt notice date: 12/2003

Got a letter 2 months back that my case is pending Name check. but it says this message now...

if you call USCIS for this, then pl. share their response here.

I think this has been discussed in other threads. One thread says that USCIS is doing a website upgrade that may have caused the message. Search and you will find the answer..
