Strange Message - Please help me understand

Friends, I just got this email message from USCIS.

May 12, 2005 : Code 3 finger printed
October 12,2006 : Code 3 finger printed.

What does this mean? Can any one advise? Thanks a bunch!

Hi ,
A lot of people received messages with old dates !!! I think this is because the USCIS is planing to change their web site soon , to make it more "communicative" with people !!! Standby , and we'll see after that if we can get any info about this !!!
