Strange LUD change

My EAD/AP were approved early this month, last LUD change was on the EAD application on 08/12. The 485 LUD also changed on 8/12.

Now my wife's EAD/AP renewal application was sent this 18th and today we got the receipt numbers of 08/24. When I attached these applications to my login at USCIS site [I am the main applicant, my wife is dependent], I found that my old EAD/AP applications (already approved) had LUD change too ... 8/26, ie, today! Any idea what's going on?
 
The LUD is more system dependant date. So when they got your new EAD/AP app someone checked if the status of your previous EAD/AP and thus that trigerred the LUD change for your previous

My guess is as good as yours.
