I e-filed for my EAD renewal a couple of weeks ago. The strange thing is, I was told to mail the supporting documentation to the National Benefits Center, even though my I-485 case is pending in the Los Angeles office, and I entered all my information correctly on the form.
Is this normal, that online filing might assign your application to a center away from the place wheere your case is pending ?
Of course, the National Benefits Center is taking 6-7 months right now to process EAD applications!
