I have recieved my Reciept Notice from VSC. The reciept # contains ESC* instead of EAC*. Is this common?.

My Priority Date is July 20th 2006 but when I try to register the case number at the USCIS website, it says Case cannot be found!!.

I have not done my finger printing yet, as I did not recieve that notice!!.

I cannot find my case information even through the customer service telephone number!.

I thought the case information disappears after FP

In my case it has disappeared or not appeared before FP.

Any ideas.

Thank You!.

Recieved Date: July 20 2006
Priority Date: July 20 2006
Notice Date: Auguest 01, 2006.

Hello r2j4,

This is USCIS Service center

LIN = Lincoln, Nebraska or NSC
EAC = St. Albans, Vermont or VSC
SRC= Dallas, Texas or TSC
WAC= Laguna Niguel, California or CSC

And :

ESC = Eastern Service Center

My advice is just wait, and it will be on USIS website .. Just sit back relax and wait for your fingerprint and it will be in your box in about 2 or 3 weeks.

I wish you the best.....

Thanks for your Reply!

I did send my application to St. Albans, VT. Wonder why I got an ESC?.

Do some people get EAC and some ESC from VSC?. (Too many C's :) )

Thanks,
R2J4

same here. I sent my application to VSC and got the case # as ESC*. I found it strange too.

btw, what is your district office? Mine is Cherry Hill

How would one know the District Office?

Hmm...I am not sure,

I live in Middlesex county, NJ. How would I know the District office?.
What is the significance of the District Office?.

Thanks,

I guess that is where you go for the interview - the DO list is on the USCIS website.
