Strange difference between online status and phone system status

My 485 online status says an RFE has been issued on 11/26/2007, blah blah blah. However, when I made the phone call, the automated phone status says: We mailed you a notice for further evidence on I-797, please follow the instruction on the I-797...

It is strange... Do they now issue RFE using I-797? Or this is a different RFE notice? Could it be a NOID?

The letter that you get with the request for evidence is form I797.
So basically the status you get online and on the phone is one and the same; wording is a little different in the two systems.
