Strange: dependent approved first, prime applicant not yet approved

My child's online status showed "approved" as per online status track and AVM from yesterday noon time.

But myself (prime applicant) and my spouse's status is still " RFE received on 12/11/03". However, my son did not get any RFE. His online status check before was "on 8/xx/03, we received your fingerprint........". Is there anybody experienced this situation before? Just fell wired why my child's case approved first.

Could this be BCIS error?

"Did you try speaking to an IIO?"

No, I did not. Because I do not know how to convince 800 Rep to refer me to VSC.

Any thoughts/ comments?

Atleast you can try convince them to transfer you to a tier2 officer.

It happens

A friend of mine was like this. The primary got approved a few months after the dependent got the actual card.

This is INS, what can you do?!

It's interesting, at least it's a piece of good news to you. What about yourself and your spouse. Have you gotten approval notice in mail for both of you? Good luck.

againagain

Online status check and AVM is still the same: "On 12/xx/03, We received your response.....", as of 22:05, 1/18/04.

We are supposed to do 3rd FP next week.

Did you ever change address with BCIS?
A friend of mine his wife got approval letter before him and later he found that his approval letter was sent to his old address.
