Strange case

Hi there,

I am on my F1 visa. I have graduated in dec 2004 and my OPT started in dec 2004 and is going to expire in dec 2005.

I have a full time job; i want to go to India for a vacation in the month of MAY 2005, but my f1 visa expires in july 2005. My company is going to sponsor my H1 in the month of april ;

I want to know if i can still go to India and come back even if my visa is going to expire in 2 months (i.e july) or should i wait till i get my h1 in october.

or is there a way that i can get my h1 stamped as soon as it gets approved in april and then go to India .

Please advice.

i suggest.....

i'd suggest wait for your h-1 visa, is vacation too necessary?
future trips can come.. but once you screw ur status. you loose the vacation and the job.
i suggest, settle first then travel.
