Strange are the ways of INS - very frustating

My details are
1) ND/RD - Sep 99
2) My wife is the primary applicant
3) Jan 2001 - I recd. 485 approval , my wife recd. a RFE
4) had my passport stamped on Jan 2001
4) wife replied RFE on Jan 2001
5) INS recivd my I-89 on Feb 1st week
6) Feb 3rd week - approval notice sent to myself(again) and wife.

Called up INS to inquire why I had recd. I-485 approval for the second time. INS agents were polite
but had no clue. Requested me to wait for 30 days and call back.

Does anyone has any idea why I recvd. 2nd approval ?

What\'s so frustrating about all this? Many have received FP notices in duplicate and also other requests. You are lucky to have received approval notice twice :)

I think it is just a honest mistake on the vermont end.. why are u so worried? By the end of a day you are approved and your passport is stamped. Just keep the second approval and enjoy america:)))
