strange 485 approval notice !!!

Hi all,
I do not know if this has happened to anybody else so far.

My 485 was approved in january 2005.
I went to Newark office and got my passport stamped in end of Jan 2005.
My Green card was mailed to me in 2nd week of February 2005.

Today (May 11th 2005) I got an email notice about my 485 saying that the
485 was approved and an approval notice was mailed.

I felt very scary and called the USCIS Customer support.
The rep told me to mail a copy of the notice along with the photocopy
of GC to Vermont Service center.
Did this happen to anybody else ?
Gurus, Please advise.

Actually..

Hi Guys,
Sorry that information was incomplete.
What I meant was that I got a second 485 approval email notice today saying that my 485 is approved on May 11th 2005 though I already got the GreenCard in feb 2005.

Isn't it strange ?

Please comment your thoughts.

Search the board and you will find out this is an old issue already. The bottom line is," don't worry."

A request to Moderator
To many messages are being posted on the board on the repeat emails. Can we post a sticky note which tells people about the happening.
 
Yes, even I got 4 e-mails about 485 approval(me & for my wife) again today. We also got approval on January 2005, received Cards on March. It seems something going on.....
