Story: My I-485

I filed my I485 papers with CSC in March, 2001. My RD=03/01, ND=04/01. Did finger printing in Aug, 2001. My wac # is wac-01-153-XXXXX. I did not get my approval yet. Also i did not get any so called RFE\'s. Last week I got another finger print notice to do my finger printing in April, 2002; but i did it on the next day. In the new fp notice the Alian number i had was different from the one on my EAD card. The folks at ASC, San Jose ckecked with the INS about my A numbers and they told me that the new number on my fp notice was the right one. But all the time my attorny and i had the old A number in all our communications with INS. Today we got a letter from INS about my new A number and they changed my A number last week. I do not have any idea about all this stupid INS things.

How could they make such a mistake?

Well, I suppose with the recent Atta incident, anything can happen in INS. But did you already have the A# in your I485 receipt? How could they just changed it again?

I am right!

They had given me a new A number. My 485 Notice, Old FP notice all had old A numbers. I am really worried about the way in which the INS deals with my case. No clue.
