Stoping a Lawyer acting for me?

I have had a lot of fuss with a lawyer I worked with for my H1B.
My case is pending. RFE was requested and already have been submitted. But I don't want my lawyer act on my behalf any more. He is very crooked and I don't trust him anymore. He does anything for money. As my case is waiting for final decision only, I think I don't need any lawyer too. How do I let BCIS know about this? Please kindly respond if anybody has any Idea about this.

Is there any places you can report mishandling or bullying (blackmailing) by a lawyer?
 
I am having even worse problem with my lawyer. He is just not providing me the INS receipt for filing I-140 and any updates to me inspite of my several request to him by e-mail. calls, fax, mails etc for last so many months. He is never on phone, he does not accept registered mail either.

Once, he sent me a copy of the petition by e-mail (without any date on it) and saying that it has been filed. I am keeping my finger crossed that everything is going smoothly. I am worried that if I complain against him now, it might screw up my processing. I am guessing my processing date from INS web page for which I should get decision any time even if RFE was issued.
I will wait for few more days and then do what you just suggested. Thanks!!
