Hi, all experienced citizenship forum participants:
I'd like to ask for input and advice on my case. My wife and I passed our citizenship interview late july and my wife recieved her oath letter 4 weeks after and now she alreay became a citizen, while I am still waiting for my Oath notice. I know another person who interviewed on the same day also got his.
I asked the BCIS 1800 number as well as the local district office--the answer: nothing to do with them, it's the FBI who has not returned the name check results, and there's nothing they can do about that except keep waiting. Isn't this odd now that my wife and another person all finished except me? Please let me have your thoughts.
