Still not received my Passport after interview at chennain consulate

I had been for an interview on 20th Dec. at chennai consulate for H1B stamping. This is my H1B revalidation. The officer confirmed that my visa has been approved. but its already 29th and I haven't still received my passport. is it taking time to received the stamped passport. Any idea as to how long it would take to get the passport with visa stamped from the consulate. is anybody in a similiar situation.
I would appreciate your response.

It must have been due to Christmas holiday break. Hope you'll receive it soon. Keep us posted.
BTW, how did the interview go? I'm also going there in 3rd week of Jan for my 8th year H1 re-validation. Planning to carry along all pay-stubs, W2's and Tax returns for all previous 7 years.
Will really appreciate if you can provide any input based on your experience.
