hi
i just wanna ask something
1.i was admitted into US using B2/B3 visa at sept 2007, and at june 2008, im starting to apply asylum
my first interview is on august 2008, and the strange thing, 2 week after interview, they told me to pick up the result, and suddenly ICE came to detain me at the place where i pick up the result ( rossdale NY), they say im overstay. its true that im overstay cause the I-94 is valid only for 6 month, and i didnt renew it since i was planning to apply asylum.did ICE have the right to detain me ? even tho when they detain me , my status already asylum applicant
2.first week july 2010 is my individual hearing, and after the hearing, the judge granted me asylee status, my question is, does the prosecutor have the right deny my granted status? altho im hearing the prosecutor saying " its my final decision" after the judge ask her. im kinda worried because of that

First of congrates for approval for asylum so dont worry this is ur final approval of asylum. see ur court order if its states that DHS can appeal the IJ decision wait for a month then you are free.

when u finished taking interview , 2 week later u got a letter to came back to take the result right?.when the officer call me to take back the result, suddenly 2 ICE member came and ask me to follow em. they said i need to sign something. i didnt suspicious since im already apply the asylee, therefore they cant do anything until my case is over ( im my opinion).after that they make me follow em to their car, cause i need to sign something in their office in mahattan. and in the car they handcuff me as they afraid me to run, that time im kinda worried.they detain me in Elizabeth NJ, in a place looklike a prison with all that inmate is immigran. ive been there for 2 week, and released for bond that cost me $10 grand.
