Still no response from USCIS

Hello,

I have filed a petition and mailed it the USCIS on November 25th. My bank statement shows that my check was cashed on Dec 13th. It has been more than a month in total and I still haven't received any response from USCIS. Is this normal?

Give them a call to make sure you haven't missed any mails...Sometimes it just takes a while to get your receipts.

I agree with calling up USCIS about checking their mailings. Sometimes though, people have gone through the whole process and never physically received their NOA1.
Another thing you could do, is request a copy of your cashed check from the bank. On the back of the check there will be a code...this is your case number. You can then enter this case number into the the 'check case status' box on http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis...this will tell where in the process your case is and whether or not the NOA1 has been sent out to you.

amnjj- i would suggest calling the nsc. Depending upon that you could also take an info pass and see whats going on, as your Biometric appt could be around the corner. Better to be safe than sorry
