If you have got physical cards in hand - you do not need transit visa. Your son will need one. I-551 stamp is not recognized in Germany.

1) If we needed trasit visa what is the procedure to get?
Check:

Also check:

And

2) If we missed green card in India how to come to US.

You will need something called transportation letter. You will have to request for it in person with following documents:

1. File FIR in India - get a copy of same. Get a good detail in FIR.
2. Completed Application for Transportation Letter.
3. Your Alien Registration Receipt Card number. (better still if you have photocopy of your GC - submit that.).
4. Completed Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card along with a fee of $185.00. (Note: It will be assessed at the time of your interview. Do not send fee with application package.Usually cash and money orders are accepted but still check with your relevant consulate in India)
5.Three passport style photographs of the applicant
6. Proof of date of last departure from the United States to include copies of applicant’s passport photograph page and arrival-departure stamps.
7. Applicant’s Indian Immigration Entry/Exit record stamp pages.
8. Evidence of travel arrangements indicating airline and first port of arrival in the United States. Evidence may include photocopies of airline tickets or copy of reservation confirmation.
9. Contact Form.

3) at POE in US they will give I 94 once again?

No. Stand in the queue for Citizens/Green card holder. They will just put entry stamp.

No problem as long as you follow rules.

your help greatly appreciated.

Hey Jharkhandi.,

thanks for given important information & ur valuble time.

I guess if I will take Lufthansa, I should get transit visa to my son(he has only I 551).
If I will take Airindia through London or Paris, I guess no need transit visa.

1) If we need transit visa, travel agent will take care? or we have personally go to appropriate embassy in US?
9. Contact Form. means covering letter?

thanks once again.

Good luck to all
