Still Didn't receive RFE

Hi All

Usually how long does it take to receive a RFE in mail?
Bcoz I (my Attorney) still didn't receive the RFE in mail and INS says that they have mailed on 5 Nov and it has been 8 days already?
Any input are appreciated

Wait for 6 more days and if your lawyer had not received it yet, ask your lawyer to call the 1800 number and they will resend the RFE. Also your lawyer can ask for the type of RFE generated sometimes the representatives give that info if a lawyer calls..

Hi Explorer19

I also Got RFE on NOV 5th and My lawyer received it just yesterday. Actually RFE directly went to my Company HR not to Lawyer and then they forwarded it to Lawyer. So ask your lawyer to check with your HR

I have a lawyer but he is not a company lawyer but my company uses his services for immigration purposes and my 2 H1s are done thru this lawyer itself before.
So I guess my RFE will be sent to lawyer.

Can any one tell me what might be the RFE's for labor substitution cases?
 
The 1800 number that I have 1-800-375-5283 . I called them today to enquire about my case and they has asked to write a letter to the UCIS to enquire anything .

I am not sure if there is another way to get any information from them.

It depends. Labor Subs cases are treated just like regular cases. SO there is no specific RFes for subs. The RFE could be for any or either
1. Edu Eval
2. Company Financials
3. Experience letters
4. Approved labor cert
5. Paystubs
