Hi,
I would like to start a consultancy company with one of my friend who is a US Citizen.
Can someone go through what exactly I will need to START and RUN the company.
I know that the first step will be to incorporate my company. What is the best and common place to do it? I went through the this site www.companiesinc.com . It is offering 3 packages but not sure what exactly i need to do.
I'm currently on h1B. Can I register this company on my name? What do i need to run this company.(money wise)
Which corporation is best for my company. (C corp or S corp). Do I need to be a US citizen for starting S corp? C corps have double taxation. So is it a good idea to go with C corp?
Also, when i'm trying to register my corporation, it is asking for the name of the Director. Can i mention my name? (i'm on h1B)
I wish if someone could prepare a list of items for this task.
