Steps to migrate to Canada

Hi,

Can anyone recommend some web resources to apply for a Canadian PR? A website with steps and details, etc will be nice.

Also, do usually people do most of the steps themselves, or is it better to go through a consulting company. Any/all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for.

So, do most people use the services of an attorney or do they do it themselves?
 
Hi guys does any one know how difficult is it for doctors to immigrate to canada and what are the steps.. I am sick of waiting for the name check to be completed and would like to move on with my life without immigration stress in near future. canada is ok with me if it is less stressful.

my humble opinion about doctors in canada.

But I must tell you that my experience is before I had done my residency.

Very difficult to get a decent job in good cities. most jobs offrered are in the rural areas. Salaries not as competitive. But life is much more relaxed, much less crime etc, basically a good lifestyle.
The requirements for jobs vary from state to state.Possibly could be more relaxed in less popular state.

Hi docsingh ,
what is your experience after residency. Are US qualifications recognized. I am Board certified in Internal Medicine, subspecialist and currently a faculty member in a university- just got tenure track. Rural area is fine. Any advice /suggestion appreciated.
