I am very new to this forum and I am sure the question I have asked have been asked many times before. But I do not know the link to it.

So, first, can you help me with one or more links that will explain the steps that are involved in applying for a spouse

My spouse is on a H1 and we are about to file for his GC. We are based in Los Angeles

Second, can you help answer some these questions:
After reviewing some threads, I understand here's are documents to be filed :
- Co-file I-130, I-485, I-131 (optional) and I-765 (optional) with National Benefits Center
- NBC, after preprocessing, sends the I-130 to the Service Center (CSC in our case). Correct?
- NBC, after preprocessing, sends the I-485 to the local District office (LA DO for us). Correct?
- I-131 (Advance Parole) and I-765 (EAD) comes directly from the NBC?
- I-693 (Medical) - does this need to be filed with the I-485? How long does it take to get this done?

Now processing times:
- I-131 (AP) is taking about 2 months to be processed
- I-765 (EAD), I-485 (AOS) and I-130 - not sure how long these are taking?
- I am assuming I-485 and I-130 is processed at the local DO and Service Center resp. So the processing time depend on the offices that are processing those application, correct?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Julie

Thanks for that links
I found some of that information by reviewing past threads here and on misc.immigration.usa
Can you tell me about the other questions I have?
In particular,

- I-693 (Medical) - does this need to be filed with the I-485? How long does it take to get this done?

And what is the process? NBC processes I-130 and I-485 and sends it to the local DO?

Thanks
Julie
