Steps after PP Stamping

I am getting kind of confused as to what is the next step(s) once the PP is being stamped.
I got approved (I485) by the TSC on Oct 6 2004 and got the PP stamped on 11/19 at the Chicago office.
Now I have been reading that people are getting welcome notices while others are getting LUD changed within a week or so. Can some one answer to clearify the following questions:

1. When should I expect to get a Welcome notice?
2. I am using the same SRC number as on the I485 application receipt to check for my Plastic card status. Is this correct or should I be getting another SRC/LIN number ?
3. When is the plastic card waiting period start ? from the time of I485 approval or from the time of PP stamping?
4. Should I get the welcome package before the Plastic card or some times they send out the welcome notice and just send out the Plastic card?
5. When should I be able to call them up and ask about whats going on with my plastic card?

2. I am using the same SRC number as on the I485 application receipt to check for my Plastic card status. Is this correct or should I be getting another SRC/LIN number ? That is correct. Use your existing SRC number for the I-485

3. When is the plastic card waiting period start ? from the time of I485 approval or from the time of PP stamping?The plastic card is generated as a result of the form that is completed by the IIO at the time of passport stamping. My card was sent from the TSC and I received it 12 days after stamping.

4. Should I get the welcome package before the Plastic card or some times they send out the welcome notice and just send out the Plastic card? See #1 above.

5. When should I be able to call them up and ask about whats going on with my plastic card?Don't even think of calling before 60 days of stamping. Stop worrying and your card will come before you know it. TSC has been very efficient at issuing the plastic cards lately.
