Step 3 vs state license

I\'m doing my first year residency using my OPT (F-1). I want to continue my program with a H-1 visa. Do I have to get a state license for applying H-1? I\'ve passed Step 3, but the state where I\'m doing residency requires one year resident time before to apply for a state license. Can I just use my step 3 to apply for H-1? Thanks in advance.

You probably already have an educational (limited) license. This, along with passed Step 3, is sufficient to obtain H-1B status.

Need Help Regarding H1B, I am Canadian resident

Hi,

I entered into US on H1B, And was here for 2years meanwhile at the end I lost my job and do\'nt know was out of status or what.
Then I immigrated to Canada, After one year over there now I got my residency here in USA and I want to start on H1B.
Does my old H1B Visa will be problem to me? I am applying for a new H1B, Will my old US Stay will be scrutinised?
Please help?
