Staying in the US without a work visa

I am wandering if I need a visa if I just want to live in the US as a Canadian for now and not work. Basically leave every 6 months and just buy a house in the US and enjoy it. I am financially independent and don't need to work for the rest of my life for any source of income. Thank you.

it seems like you have lots of money, if you want to stay more than 6 months in the US then you should apply for citizenship.
