How long are we allowed to stay outside after becoming a U.S. Citizen? Do we go through reentry permit or anything of such procedures? Assume this person holds dual Citizenship?

you can stay for ever but technically not true you will be taking US passport and will be taking visa to India or which ever country you are going, it depends how many months visa you get it etc.

true. but another option for people of Indian origin is to take up the upcoming dual citizenship provision, or apply for the PIO card and hence you may not have a restricted visit to your India
