Status update after FP

My online status was updated yesterday (7/1/04).
I had done my finger printing in the third week of May and my wife had done hers in the first week of June.

The online status says that the finger prints were received from FBI and processing has been resumed on the case and they will let us know if a decision is made or if they need anything from us.
 
Did the online status change when you recd FP notice?

Hi Ak2003,

Did the online status change when they sent out FP notices to you. If yes, what exactly does the message show when they send you FP notice. I tried asking this question many times in the forum. But no one seems to be interested in replying.

I got my fingerprints notice this week,and my online status got changed to

"we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint recording. The notice also gave the times and location where this processing could be done. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

And also i saw in the forums that for some people the status is not changing,so if ur status doesn't change there is no need to worry.

The updation date was changed to this months beginning but the message is still the same for some reason. It is still as it was when i had gotten the first FP done. It says

"on July 02 2002, Your finger prints were received from FBI and processing has been resumed on your case. We will inform you if we need any information or if a decisions is made on your case"

I dont know whats going on..

Thanks to you guys for giving me a better idea of what i can expect to see if they send an FP notice out.
 
Recieved 2nd fingure printing notice. Scheduled to have it on July 30th, 2004.

Mmm..... Very similar to me.

I-485 RD Sep 11 2002
1st FP 10/02
2nd FP notice just arrived two days ago for Aug 14 2004

I'll race you!!! :D
 
FP status not getting updated

I have my first finger printing during mid-April, 2003. It is july, 2004 and my I485 status still says "On March 19, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint .....". My wife whose finger printing was done in mid-may 2003, got her status updated. (Why my wife has a different finger printing date is another story.)
Any ideas what is happening ?
