Status of August Case

Hi folks,

I filed for my GC last August. FP was done in Dec2001. Have not heard from INS since then. I talked to IIO at Nebraska recently. IIO told me that case went back to examiner. I did not understand what he meant by 'went back to Examiner'. But I asked him 'Why?'. He said Examiner is the one who approves it. Does it mean anything? or Is it a typical INS IIO reply. Has anybody got similer reply? or is it a good sign?

I think this is good. Once it is with examiner it in final stages of approval. If everything i.e., Documents & evidences are OK with your case you can hear the Voice of approval soon. If something is needed thay may issue an RFE.

Mine RD ia 08/10, ND 09/19, RFE issued 10/10,
RFE response recieved by ins on 11/05
Rfe was on medical and Affidavits

Waiting for approval.

Any idea when should i expect approval???
