Status is "FP Received" though never got FP Notice

I got following status:
"On November 20, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.
"
but the problem is that we never got finger-printed. Any clue what it means. Does this mean that I should be getting FP notice soon.
We recently moved from CT to California but updated our address by calling 1-800 number and sending AR11.
Our 485 app RD is 02/13/2004. Are we receiving FP notices for that time.

Could be a "mess-up" by USCIS. Call service center and clarify. See if you can talk to an Immigration officer, by insisting with Customer Service Rep.
 
I called them and they told that Finger Print might have come up with our 485 application. To my knowledge me of my wife did not include fingerprint with thae application. Status is changed to "FP Received" for my wife application only but not in mine(primary EB applicant).
If status would have changed in my application, it might make some sense, as I need to go fingerprinting and background check(FBI) while consulting project at federal government establishment as it was mandatory for all employess and contractor there after 9/11.
Don't know what is happening there. I shall wait little more time to see if any status change happens to my application.
