FP?

Have you not done FP yet?
If not, please write to BCIS TSC and also speak to 800 number.

NO FP yet ...

I am getting frustrated with the process as the TSC keeps on delaying. I am planning to chnage to AC140 consular processing to get done with it....

planning to chnage to AC140 consular processing
Beware
I am not really too informed on CP, but what I understand is;
1) BCIS will cancel your AOS when they receive the CP and
2) If your CP application is rejected, there is no possibility of appeal.

I was also considering the same thing.

based upon conv with lawyer

The AC140 CP is different than regular CP. In regular CP, you have to wait for I824 to be approved. Approval of I824 stops your AOS. In AC140CP, all you need is the I-824 receipt and other forms that your attorney send directly to consulate where you wish to go for your interview, and then if things go right (i.e. TSC remains the way it is now and takes 8mon-1yrs to approve I824), you may actually have both processing moving at the time, infact your consular completed before you even get I824 approved.....
