Here is my 485 case update,
RD: Aug 24, 2001
Called Customer Service 3 times to get a status enquiry put in, they could not do it on the first 2 attempts for unknown reasons.
Finally on my 3rd attempt the CS rep was kind enough to put in a status enquiry on my case and told me to expect a reply in 3-4 weeks.
To my surprise, I got a reply within 3 days, YES THREE DAYS. Right there at my mail box I guessed that NSC is one lousy center, how can they open my file and put in a mail and still receive it in 3 days?
Anyway, the letter said that NSC is processing 09/06/01(though per website it is 09/30/2001) cases and their system indicates that my case has a RD of 09/13 so wait.
The only thing I can infer from the enquiry is that they must have linked my case with my wife's case (RD: 09/13/01) though I am the primary applicant.
Just thought to keep you all posted.
