hi Gurus,

Does anybody know what is the exact number we need to contact USCIS for case status. Please provide the menu number i need to select(i.e 1800XXXX then 1 or 3 or 5 to go further).

Call 1800-375-5283 then 1 2 6 1

If you want to place an inquiry, wait until the electronic status message is read out to you and then choose from the options which will be given to you.

Use the following to find status on ph , after hearing status u may stop, or keep continue if u like to talk ur service center directly.


method to follow to talk with direct.

use 800 to find status.
Press 1 for english
Press 2
Press 6
Press 1 for SRC #
Press 1 again to confirm (u will hear ur current petition status)
Press 3
Press 3 or 4 when it says u have file Multiple applicaiton, by selecting this option u will be connected with TSC.

(if u find any error after receipt# input, use any other receipt# like EAD etc)

Once connected give opt to ur 485 src.

Using this can i talk to somebody in customer service?

Customer service usually have limited access and even system says they have same info like u have on when u check status check,

If u do want to learn some detail u may contact directly to service center and hopefully they would be able to give u actual status.
