Status Enquiry. How many days to get reply?

Hi folks,

Any idea as to how many days it takes to get a reply for a I-485 status enquiry?
I initiated the status enquiry on Oct 27. I called up the National Service Center and the rep I spoke with said that if I don't get a reply in 30 days, I should call again on Nov 27.

My ND is 04/07/03 as well. Hope to hear something soon. I filed an inquiry about an week back as well.

about two weks

It took about two weeks between the time I asked and the time I got a reply to my inquiry. The replies are completely useless. Essentially, someone looks at the very same information you can...then they send you a letter saying that "...your case is pending Service consideration..." I think it's fair to say that the people who write replies to inquiries are completely decoupled from the adjudicators, that is, the inquiry-reply-writers do NOT have access to more than what the electronic database shows.
