My wife and I filed N400 (NSC, Chicago DO) together; FP together on 06/17; I received Interview letter on 07/17, interview scheduled for 09/06. Wife has not received any letter yet. Online status for her shows last update is on 06/01
I called USCIS today. First operator repeated the information from the web site but transferred to someone who could provide more information.
That person mentioend that the last update on his computer is on 06/19, but does not have data to confirm status of fingerprint and name/background check.
I called FBI, they confirmed that information on fingerprint was sent to USCIS on 06/17 - will not provide info if it was approved; She also mentioned that background check is being done at the Washington office and I can only contact USCIS to check on status.
Does anyone know how to check if fingerprint has been cleared? How to check status on name/background check?
