Can someone please help me?
I applied for an F-1 visa and did my interview in mid 2024. I wasn't successful and put under administrative processing with the title refused. My status then became approved beginning of Dec 2024. Then on the 13th Dec 2025 requested for me to send my passport to the embassy which I did that day.
On the 2nd of Jan 2025 it changed to administrative processing with this message.
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.
Can someone help clear this up for me?
