status change

Hello ,
filed I-140/I-485 , no I-140 approval yet . my wife came to US on H4 visa (H4 stamp in passport) then got H1 status . now , she got laidoff , how do i transfer her status from h1 to h4 . we got EAD but since I-140 is not approved yet , didin't want to take chance . please i need suggestions , advice as to what to do .


please help .
 
apply for change of status to H4 immediately. as she already has a 485 filed, she should not be considered out of status since the time of lay-off. Please check with attorney.
