I came to US on F1 Visa for Fall 2005 at University A.
I started my Masters in Computer Science then.
While i was in process of my masters, i had a DUI dated Dec 1st 2006.
In Dec 2007, i was removed from the university A because of Bad Grades and got 60 day notice to Change the University or go back to India.
Then i transferred to a different University B in Jan 2008.
I applied for a General H1B in April 2008 with an Employer in Philadelphia.
I worked in Las Vegas on CPT in that Year - I am still checking whether i might have worked without CPT for that Summer 2008 - Which i will Clarify.
I did not Register in Fall 2008, due to some personal issues and also thought my H1b was almost approved.
On Oct 1st 2008, i had an RFE - and we responded - And on Feb 12th 2009 - My h1b was denied.
The university B said my SEVIS was Terminated in Dec 2008, which they never intimated - technically they are supposed to i guess.
Now that my H1B was denied yesterday, can i apply for Reinstatement in that university B ???
I was told by so many people(May be I did not do my Research then thinking my H1B is almost Approved) including my employer that as long as i have a case pending with USCIS, i am in legal status in US.
And i donot know what my options are now?
