Hello

I have sponsored my wife's GC , as a US citizen. Appeared for interview, and it was OK. The interviewer asked a lot of questions about this and previous marriages, etc. Took copies of this and that documents (lease, DMV licenses, birth certificate of the kid, we had 4 months ago, etc). At the end, he would not comment on the decision on AOS. I was under the impression that they would usually give the verdict at the end. Atleast thats what I remember had happened to me.

What should we expect in the coming weeks? Will the FBI background check start now?

Thanks

Very few people get immediate approval these days. Wait for 90 days before even starting anything. The FBI checks already started and may even be already done.

When was your interview?

If you don't hear anything from them after 30 days after the interview, a lot of people have set up an INFOPass appointment at the office to check the status of their case.

Thanks for ur replies, guys !

Our interview was few days ago.

OK, we are not in hurry. Its just that my expectation was for a quick decision.

So, is it 30 days or 90 days, that I should ping USCIS?

Thanks
