Hi,

I have a friend who got married to a citizen, and then got divorced after 3 months. Can he be sponsered for green card through employment now?? What are his options for staying in the US now??
I would really appreciate any feed back.

Yes he can file for adjustment of status based on employment. Has he and his wife filed for adjustment of status? If yes he will have to send a letter to the local district office explaining the situation (to withdraw that petition) and file the new I140 / I485 at the Service Center.

Also do consult a good immigration attorney to get information for the withdrawl of the I485 based on marriage to a USC!
