Is it possible for somone on H-1B status working full time for the current employer to start his own business on the side? This is something where a company named would have to be get registered with the state and get license etc to import trading material from other country and sell it here in the US. This is not some grand scheme, just something on a smaller scale, side business kind of thing. But I'd like to know if this would cause any kind of violation of H-1B status or not??
