plus i will be a frequent traveller.

so what do i need to do to preserve my green card.

since the travel and stay in india is biz related

but the company will be owned by me.

Intially i will be puttin my savings into the biz
and will not take any kinda salary.

I concur with your thoughts except the words "unfair". I find everything gcskr doing correct but definitely not unfair. It would be unfair what CEO's of Enron, MCI and such other MNC's have done!

All that gcskr is doing is taking a risk to start a business which would involve offshore element.

I dont see anything wrong being a GC holder/ wannbe american and still want to have some ties with motherland in some way shape or form whether it is india, pakistan, some place in asia, europe or wherever on earth or should i say MARS!!!

No doubt we are living in the fear of losing our own job...I definitely do. But at the same time, why worry about what is not in our control . It is better to be well equipped if that day were to come.

I concur with joef on the point that good adn bad things happen but life doesnt wait...one has to move on....outsourcing has been the word for years .. but new industries have sprung.
