Im new to this forum and to the whole GC stuff.
I have a PERM labor approved and my attorney has filed for I140. Im from India. Since the labor was filed on July 5 2005 we cant file the I485.
My lawyer suggests we have to wait till the numbers open up. But as I have been reading the preparation for the I485 process itself takes time. so im insisting that he start the process. But on my end can the GURUS tell me what I should do and how do i start the process and what all documents I should keep ready. Once the numbers are available (i think we will know by mid sept ?) when will the lawyer file the application.
After the application is filed when will get an approval. what are the reasons it can get rejected ?
