Starting citizenship process and moving to India

Hi,
I needed some gurus to help me out with this.
We are eligible to apply for citizenship in Jan '06. I want to find out if there is an option of starting the process here and move to India during the processing phase and take the interview in India as well. Is there a risk in doing this or additional delay that this can cause ?
Also do we need to have to wait until the entire process is over before we can sponsor my parents for permanent residency ? Again is this something that can be initiated if we have moved back to India ?
THanks in advance,

Nope -- not at all possible. You need to maintain residency in the state and district you're applying from, from the time you apply up until your oath is complete.

They're really sticky about this. For example, even if you're just moving inside the the U.S. to a different state or different district office's region while your application is pending, you have to get your naturalization case / files transferred to the new USCIS district office (that will inevitably delay processing of your case).

Until you're a U.S. citizen, you can't sponsor other relatives that only U.S. citizens can sponsor (I would think this is obvious). Your pending naturalization gives you no added benefits like this.

Exiting Via Canada?

Is it a possibility that since no one makes any entry on the passport at the port of entry/exit while travelling from USA to Canada and vice versa..perhaps might it be a good idea to exit to India out of Canada and come back in to canada and then to USA when the FP and Oath time comes. In the meantime give a change of address to a relatives address?

Are you implying that you want to willfully lie about the residence in the N-400 application....if so you are opening up yourself for fraud....

That's not just the implication -- it's outrightly fraudulent -- no question.
