Starting business on EAD

Hi guys,

I am working on H1 right now & have an EAD card since last 1 year. I am thinking of starting my own IT consulting firm

What I wanted to know was:

1. Can a person strart or register a company on EAD. If yes what is the investment and process...
2. I am on H1 so do I need to switch to EAD the moment I register my company...
3. Does anyone has similar exp..pls share if you can.

Is there any other business where investment is minimum & decent gains...
