Started OPT Late (Do I get grace period)

Hi all,

I started my OPT 2 months after my graduation date. Please tell me if I will still get the 60 day grace period at the end of my OPT or would it be considered exhausted in the beginning (b/w graduation date and start of OPT)

My OPT is now about to expire in Jul 06 and the new H-1 that I am filing would start Oct 1 2006. Would I be able to stay legally in the US for the 3 mths from my OPT expiration to H-1 start.
If not ...what could be a good option to stay in this country for these 3 mths.

I have a question for you?? Did u apply for your OPT prior to your graduation or after the graduation??

I am sorry I could not check this post earlier. Thanks for taking the time. I applied for my OPT before graduation.
